The Team

Juan A. Serrano - Founder & Lead Developer

Senior/Lead Developer with over 10 years of experience in Ruby, Rust, and microservices architectures.

Key Experience:
- Ifeel (Current): Migrating monolith to modular architecture with Packwerk, improving technical debt and developing new features.
- Pulse USA: Designing integrations with ClassLink/Clever for US schools. Migration to event-driven architecture reducing endpoint latency to milliseconds with materialized views.
- Out.fund UK: Creating microservices (revenues, arrears, categorization) using Kafka/Confluent. Integrations with Xero, Modulr, Rutter, and Plaid.
- Team Satchel/Neeto: Building critical modules like Seating, Attendance, Detentions, and Behaviors for UK's leading education software.

Tech Stack: Ruby/Rails, Rust, SOLID, DDD, Microservices, Kafka/RabbitMQ, TDD with RSpec/Capybara, Datadog, Heroku/AWS.
